It just takes a new ‘do!
I was really sick of my hair. My bangs were always in my eyes, there were tons of split ends, and I would usually just stick it up in a messy pony tail because even when I did do it, it still looked pretty bad ten minutes later. Steven got tired of me complaining about it so much, so he made me go and get it cut. He gave me the deadline of my birthday.
The lady was awesome. I didn’t really know what I wanted; I told her that I wanted it long still and that I wanted a low-maintenance cut (because who am I kidding…I don’t spend more than ten minutes on it most days!), but other than that, she had creative license. She put layers in it to add body; cut every last split end off; and thinned out my bangs so they would tuck away nicely when I want, or I can curl them to frame my face. She also cut along my natural curl so I don’t have to straighten my hair after washing it. I can just put some gel in it to control the frizz, and I’m good-to-go! Oh, and it’s super soft without all the split ends.
And the added bonus – I lost two pounds in one sitting. (I guess that’s more of a subtracting bonus?)

You look great!! Love it!!
Thanks Jenny and Jenna!
